Bio

Chris Mills has lived in DC for 20+ years. His artwork has been shown at Lost Origins, the Hill Center, LACDA, and Pittsburgh’s Irma Freeman Center. Several images were featured in Confluence Magazine’s 2020 feature on “Place as Subject.” He held his first solo exhibition in 2017 and a collection of woodland landscapes, “And So Here We Are…” followed in 2019. His work is grounded in a sense of place and the idea that our surroundings affect our perception of both our environment and our selves.
