CHRISTINA BATIPPS

Bio

Christina Batipps works in painting and mixed media. Her recent work explores life in quarantine, the impacts of climate change, and connectedness through food preparation. She works in layers, first creating a wash, then a layer of bold lines, and finally, opaque shapes of color throughout. Christina lives and works in the Washington, D.C. area and holds an MFA from Maryland Institute College of Art.
