Bio

Alonzo Davis’ career as an artist spans four decades. Davis has received numerous commissions for indoor and outdoor art. These include installations for the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority Boston subway; Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport; the Memphis/Shelby County Library in Tennessee; Maryland’s Prince George’s County Courthouse; the U.S. Embassy in Togo, West Africa; the Blue Cross/Blue Shield Conference Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee; and the Epic Hotel in Miami Beach, Florida. Born in Tuskegee, Alabama and later raised in Los Angeles, Davis studied at Pepperdine College and earned an MFA at Otis Art Institute.
